Purr-sonality Profile – Charlie
Age: Young adult
Charlie came into our care with her four month old son Chaplin who has now been adopted. Charlie was petrified when she first came indoors. She spent a long while hiding under the sofa, only venturing out under the cover of night when she was certain no scary humans were hovering.
The lovely girl is now getting more and more bold and isn’t so scared of humans. She is exploring her fosterers’ bedroom
Charlie rather loves salmon and her fosterers are trying to tempt her into coming much closer to them with the tasty treat. She seems apprehensive about eating in front of humans and sniffs suspiciously at it. The second she is alone, however, she gratefully gobbles it all up.
She is still very shy but getting braver every day and we are confident that with a lot of love and a lot of patience she will come around and start to trust a lot more. She loves to play with her kitten and we just know she’ll be playing with her fosterers in no time!
She is happy, healthy and house-trained. We do not think she would be suited to a home with young children or dogs because of her shy nature.
